Kayden Vaile

Kayden is old even for a viera but her youth and most of her years were spent in the Golmore Jungle. She has seen changes across the continent and experienced more across Golmore then most have seen in three life times.She spent many of her early years healing the tribes people of the Rava and exploring the jungle. While she had her moments, she found peace in studying under a Wood Warder named Meran who taught her the ways of the jungle and how to control her unnatural ability with aether.Soon after Meran’s passing and with visions, she left the jungle and headed for Doma understanding she may never return to Golmore.

Leaving Golmore, Kayden immediately saw the impact the Garlean army had made on the continent. Heading to Doma she noticed the people were nothing more than slaves. While she attempted at first to be a silent party lending aid to those injured, she eventually took an active role.Developing hatred for the Garleans forces, she snapped when seeing a small town about to be overwhelmed and took action. Close to death when the resistance arrived to help, they quickly saw the power Kayden held and invited her to join. She accepted.

Joining the resistance, Kayden has been a part of almost every major battle across Eorzea. She feels at home with the other soldiers on the frontlines. Healing the wounded and devastating the enemy ranks with her powerful control of aether.She has taken on proteges but only one at a time. Her healing magic is sought after by the resistance to cure those on the verge of death. She is rumored to have the ability to bring back the souls of the recently deceased. A skill which has made her just as feared as loved by the Ala Mhigan troops.Her current protégé is Vikanda Glynae as a promise to her father.
